British Society for the History of Radiology (BSHR)

The British Society for the History of Radiology (BSHR) supports activities locating, conserving and recording artefacts, literature and other items relating to the discovery of X-rays and other imaging methods, Conservation of material related to the development of medical and dental radiology, together with radiation oncology in the United Kingdom is included in this remit.

The Society seeks to foster public awareness of the far reaching consequences of the discovery of X-rays (& other imaging modalities) and their application within medicine and their broader benefit to humanity.
