Join us for a taster session before UKIO 2021 Online officially opens. GE Healthcare will present a session open to all, and is designed to:

1. Provide an understanding of the basic physics and dynamics of ultrasound contrast agents (UCAs).

2. Show how to perform contrast ultrasound.

3. Provide an understanding of the difference between simple and complex renal cysts.

4. Illustrate the Bosniak classification of renal cysts using Contrast agents.

Speaker: Dr Sid Liyanage has been working as a Consultant General Radiologist at Southend University since 2010 with a subspecialist interest in Genitourinary Radiology. He undertook his radiology training at St Bartholomew’s and the Royal London Hospitals including a body MRI fellowship during his final year. He set up and has run a contrast ultrasound service at Southend Hospital since 2015 applied principally to evaluate complex renal and testicular masses. He has 30 peer reviewed publications and a keen interest in education, previously as Anatomy RCR examiner and currently as College tutor.
